WHADDYA THINK
Capstone project, 'Whaddya Think' is a toolkit for undergraduate designers to explore and understand the various systems in which their practice, design problems and solutions exist, through a less reductive approach to knowledge and learning.
It is based on eco-literacy and the3 ecologies by Felix Guattari.
The illustrations used throughout this work are aimed at easing and delighting the mind whilst navigating through some heavy and often complicated topics.
This toolkit is aimed at promoting interdisciplinary and in-depth design practice, encouraging eco-literate thinking and not shying away from complex 'wicked' problems.

SALT OF THE EARTH
The first Graphic Design project I had ever embarked upon!
The design brief was to create a First Day Cover for a collection of stamps that celebrated a theme or event of your choosing.
Salt of the Earth is a concept for a festival that celebrates more analogue craft and design technologies and provides a platform to explore and collaborate with artists and craftspeople who work through digital technologies.
The design was aimed at bringing a more contemporary feel to some traditional tools while paying homage to vintage style and design.
GNOSIS
The design brief here was to create a portfolio based on AI and speculative design.
This design explored the use of Brain Computer Implants to improve communication, rehabilitation and ecology.
"Gnosis operates under the conviction that all humans have the potential to improve and transform the world and humanity for the better. This potential is acheived through enlightenment, through knowledge and experience. Once implanted these humans are known as Gnostics, over time the Seed implant creates a small glowing area on the temple of the Gnostic, called the Divine Spark."
DIGITAL PUBLICATION
This work was created in response to a very open and creative design brief. Students were asked to create an online digital publication with content of their own choosing.
Titled 'Ocker Kiwitanga' these images are a collage of watercolour, ink and digital illustration. They are a personal exploration cultural identity and ideology of both Australia and New Zealand.

RŌPŪ
Media Design School runs a series of live briefs with students to introduce them to clients and help practice presentation skills and communication. This project worked with Auckland Art Gallery in assisting them with finding more volunteers.
Working with 4 other students, we created a campaign titled 'Rōpū' which was aimed at promoting diversity within the gallery and celebrating cultural experience.
My role in the group was as a graphic designer and copywriter, I did a number of target audience illustrations (pictured) and also produced a motion design piece for the campaign.
